Nora Gabbai
Artist

As an artist, Nora Gabbai is the vivid representation of two cultures, involving the roots of traditional Iranian art and the modernistic touch of Western Art.

Nora Gabbai was born in Tehran, Iran, graduated from Behzad Fine Art School, under the teaching of Master Professor Mahmoud Farshchian, Miniaturist.

Her miniature painting clearly reflects the teaching of her professors, who emphasized the rules and principles of modern miniatures.

In 1975 Nora graduated from Tehran University and received her B.F.A. in Fine Art, the same year she started to work for the Iranian Hand Craft Co. Nora studied cutting Batik stamp (mohr) techniques at Fine Art College under teaching of Professor Ganamchine.

Nora Gabbai with unique Batik skill in composition, design and color makes each viewing of her Batik Art work a truly enjoyable experience. Join her, at her Batik work shop to spend a timeless moment and learn the beautiful Art of Batik.
