Armineh Havan is an artist, educator, and certified Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy (PCEAT) facilitator dedicated to nurturing creativity and healing through the arts. As the Artistic Director of Creative Lounge in Montrose/Glendale, she creates an inspiring space where individuals of all ages can explore self-expression through classes, workshops, and personal creative discovery.
Born in Iran, Armineh holds a Master of Arts in Painting with high honors from Alzahra University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tehran, where her research on katchkars received national recognition. She has over 20 years of experience teaching art in schools, community centers, and international organizations, including expressive arts workshops for the Women’s Resource Center in Armenia.
Her recent collaborations include a series of Art Therapy programs at the Glendale Central Library, offered in partnership with the Armenian American Mental Health Association and funded by Los Angeles County.
Armineh’s artwork explores themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. Through abstract, dreamlike imagery, she reflects the human journey—its beauty, complexity, and capacity for renewal. Her work has been exhibited in both the United States and Armenia.
